Brand terms

Version 2026-10-14

1. Who these terms are for

These terms are an agreement between Kaso, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Kaso") and the business that opens a brand or agency account on Kaso ("you"). By creating an account, depositing money or launching a campaign you accept them on behalf of that business, and you confirm that you may bind it.

Kaso is a marketplace. Brands fund campaigns; independent creators make short videos about the brand's product with AI tools, post them on their own social accounts and are paid for the views those videos get. Kaso runs the campaign, counts the views, holds the money and pays the creators. Kaso does not make videos, does not post anything and is not a party to the relationship between you and a creator beyond what these terms describe.

An agency accepts these terms for itself and for each client brand it creates a workspace for. The agency is responsible to Kaso for every client workspace it runs, and a client's money belongs to that client's workspace.

2. Your account

An account is opened with a work email address and the business's legal name, website and industries. Keep the account's details current and its passwords private. You are responsible for everything done under your account and your team members' accounts, and you can remove a team member at any time from Settings.

You must be an organization or a person acting for one, and you must be able to pay by bank transfer from a United States bank account in your business's name.

3. Deposits and the fee

You fund your balance by ACH Direct Debit from a US bank account you link through Stripe. A deposit is at least $500. It clears in a few business days; a campaign launched before then waits and launches by itself when the money arrives.

Kaso's fee is 10% of each deposit, taken once, when the deposit clears. A $1,000 deposit puts $900 on your balance. Everything on your balance goes to creators: funding a campaign, counting views and paying creators carry no further fee. The fee is not refundable except as described in section 5.

By making a deposit you authorize Kaso's payment processor to debit the linked account for that amount, and you confirm the account is yours and has the funds. A deposit that fails or is reversed removes the money from your balance; if the balance has already been spent, you owe Kaso the shortfall and Kaso may pause your campaigns until it is paid.

Your balance is not a bank account, earns no interest and cannot be transferred to anyone else. It can be spent on campaigns only.

4. Campaigns

A campaign is funded from your cleared balance. It states a rate per 1,000 views (at least $0.50), a budget (at least $200), the platforms it accepts, an optional cap per video, an end date and the rules creators must follow. The rate can be raised and the end date changed while a campaign runs; the rules, the platforms and the cap lock when the campaign launches, for every creator who joins it.

You describe the product, upload the assets creators work from and name what they may not claim. You confirm that you own or have the rights to everything you upload, that it does not infringe anyone's rights, and that it complies with the advertising rules of each platform and of the laws that apply to your product.

Campaigns are not allowed for adult content and gambling; cryptocurrency, trading signals and get-rich offers; tobacco, nicotine, cannabis and weapons; political and issue advertising; and anything illegal where the campaign runs. Kaso may freeze or remove a campaign that breaks this rule or these terms, and may close the account of a repeat offender. When Kaso removes a campaign, creators are paid for the views already counted and the unspent budget returns to your balance.

Kaso may show a campaign's public details on joinkaso.com so creators can find it: its title, the brand's name and logo, the rate, the rules and the reference links. Your files, your updates to creators and your contact details are shown only to creators who have signed in.

You can pause a campaign, resume it and end it early. When a campaign ends, creators are paid for the views already counted, each video is read one last time after the end date, and the rest of the budget returns to your balance.

5. Refunds

A balance cannot be withdrawn. Kaso can refund one whole deposit, including its fee, while your balance still covers the full amount; write to contact@joinkaso.com. Money already committed to campaigns or paid to creators is not refundable.

6. Reviewing videos

Every video a creator submits comes to your review queue. You approve it, or reject it with a reason the creator sees. Only approved videos are paid for. A video nobody reviews within 14 days is approved automatically, so creators are not left waiting.

Approval is final. A creator may dispute a rejection and Kaso decides the dispute; Kaso's decision is final for both of you. You may report an approved video to Kaso at any time if you believe it breaks the campaign's rules, these terms or the law, and Kaso will review it.

You are responsible for the content you approve. Before approving a video, check that the claims it makes about your product are true and substantiated, that any testimonial or endorsement in it is honest and disclosed, and that any music or other third-party material in it is cleared for the uses you intend. Kaso does not review videos for legal compliance.

7. How views are counted and paid

Kaso reads the public page of each approved video once a day while the campaign runs, and one last time after the campaign's end date. The view count on the platform's public page is the count Kaso pays on. A video earns from the first 1,000 views, or from the higher minimum a campaign sets, until the campaign ends or the video's cap is reached.

A video that is deleted, made private or otherwise unreadable stops counting from that moment. Views already paid stay paid. Kaso checks every reading for patterns that do not look like real viewing, holds a suspicious video before it is paid, reviews it, and does not charge your budget for views it judges fake.

Creators are paid per 1,000 views at the campaign's rate, rounded down to the cent; fractions stay in your budget. Kaso pays creators on the 1st of each month. You pay for views, never for videos, and a video nobody watches costs you nothing.

8. Licenses

When you approve a video, the creator grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, edit, adapt and show that video, in whole or in part, in your advertising and on your own social accounts and websites, in any medium. You may run it as a paid ad on any platform. The license covers the video as delivered; it does not cover any third-party material in it that the platform licenses for organic posts only, which you must clear yourself before paid use.

A rejected video is not licensed to you. A video that was approved stays licensed to you even if the creator later deletes the post or leaves Kaso.

You grant Kaso a license to use your name, logo, assets and the campaign's public details to run the campaign, to show it to creators and on joinkaso.com, and to show approved videos on Kaso's own pages using the platforms' official embeds. Kaso may name you as a customer, with your logo, until you ask it not to.

9. Public results

When a campaign ends, its results are public on joinkaso.com and in the app: the budget spent, the total views, the number of videos and of creators who earned, the cost per 1,000 views and the chart of views over time. The same figures appear on your brand's public page. You cannot hide them. Your balance, your deposits, your files, your updates to creators and what you paid any one creator are never public.

10. Your responsibilities

You will use Kaso only for lawful advertising of products and services you have the right to advertise. You will not use it to collect creators' personal data, to contact creators outside Kaso for work that avoids Kaso's fee, to pay or promise creators anything outside Kaso for Kaso campaigns, or to run any campaign that is misleading, defamatory, infringing or unsafe.

You will comply with the US Federal Trade Commission's rules on endorsements and testimonials and with every platform's rules on branded content. You will not ask a creator to hide that a video is a paid promotion, to remove a platform's AI label, or to make a claim about your product that you have not substantiated.

11. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time by writing to contact@joinkaso.com. Live campaigns are ended first and creators are paid for the views already counted. The balance that remains is refundable only as described in section 5. Kaso may suspend or close your account for a breach of these terms, for fraud, for a failed or reversed deposit that is not made good, or where the law requires it, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Sections 8, 9, 12, 13, 14 and 15 survive the end of the agreement.

12. Disclaimers

Kaso is provided as it is. Kaso does not promise that a campaign will get any number of views, creators, videos or sales, that a platform will keep a video up or keep counting it, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Creators are independent; Kaso does not employ them, does not control what they make and does not guarantee the content of any video. To the fullest extent the law allows, Kaso disclaims every warranty not stated in these terms, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Kaso is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from these terms or your use of Kaso, however caused. Kaso's total liability for everything arising from these terms is limited to the fees you paid Kaso in the twelve months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them to.

14. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Kaso, its officers, directors, employees and contractors against any claim, loss or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your product or service, the assets and claims you give creators, a video you approve, your breach of these terms, or your breach of the law or of a platform's rules.

15. Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or from Kaso that the two of us cannot settle by talking will be resolved by binding arbitration before a single arbitrator, on an individual basis and not as a class, in Delaware or by video, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Either side may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either side may seek an injunction in court to protect its intellectual property. You and Kaso both give up the right to a jury trial.

16. The rest

Kaso may change these terms. Kaso will email the account's owners about a material change at least 14 days before it takes effect, and the change applies to campaigns launched after that date. If you do not agree, close your account before then. These terms, the privacy policy and the campaign terms you set in the app are the whole agreement between you and Kaso about Kaso. If a part of them is unenforceable, the rest stands. Kaso's failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without Kaso's consent; Kaso may assign them to a successor.
