1. Reporting a video

Kaso respects copyright and answers notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Videos are posted on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube by their creators, so a notice to the platform removes the post itself; a notice to Kaso stops the video from earning on Kaso and removes it from Kaso's pages. To report a video, write to contact@joinkaso.com with: the link of the video; the work you say it copies, and where that work can be seen; your name, address, phone number and email; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.

Kaso's agent for copyright notices is Kaso, Inc., Attn: Copyright Agent, at contact@joinkaso.com.

2. What Kaso does

Kaso reviews every complete notice promptly. Where the notice is valid, Kaso stops the video from earning, removes it from Kaso's pages and tells the creator, with a copy of the notice. Views already paid are not reclaimed. A creator who receives repeated valid notices loses their account.

3. Counter notice

A creator who believes a notice is mistaken may send a counter notice to contact@joinkaso.com with: the link of the video; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that they believe in good faith the video was stopped by mistake or misidentification; their name, address and phone number; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for their district (or, outside the US, any district where Kaso may be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the notice; and their signature. Kaso forwards the counter notice to the person who sent the notice. If that person does not tell Kaso within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, Kaso may let the video earn again.

Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or was stopped by mistake, may be liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
